The Boulevard
Family Restaurant,
Selsey

A family-friendly restaurant in the heart of the historic seaside town  of Selsey, West Sussex.

Located at the southernmost point of West Sussex, Selsey is steeped in history. Once the site of the royal palace of the South Saxons, established by King Æthelwealh of Sussex in the 7th century.

The town today is renowned for its fresh, locally caught crab. Nearby, you’ll find the tranquil Pagham Nature Reserve—a haven for wading birds, geese, and ducks—and Bunn Leisure Caravan Park, the largest in Europe. The Selsey Bill Lifeboat Station adds to the area’s rich maritime heritage, dating back to 1861.

At The Boulevard, our carvery has become a beloved tradition, offering a warm and satisfying dining experience that brings friends and families together.

What Makes Our Carvery Special

Premium Cuts of Meat: Enjoy succulent turkey, honey-glazed ham, topside of beef infused with English mustard and rosemary, or perfectly crisp British pork.

Seasonal Vegetables & Sides: From sage and onion stuffing and buttery new potatoes to roast potatoes, battered parsnips, and creamy cauliflower cheese, our selection of sides offers something for everyone.

Rich Gravy & Yorkshire Puddings: No carvery is complete without rich, flavourful gravy and our golden, puffed Yorkshire puddings made fresh every day.

All-British Ingredients: True to our ethos, we prioritise using responsibly sourced, high-quality ingredients that celebrate the best of British produce.

Family friendly service

Our carvery caters to everyone, with plenty of space for groups, high chairs for little ones, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit feel special.

Available every Sunday at our Selsey branch, The Boulevard Carvery is a feast not to be missed. Whether you're a long-time fan or a first-time visitor, come and experience why our carvery is at the heart of our community dining.

  • A serene beach scene at sunrise or sunset, with calm waves lapping the shore, a few birds flying, and soft pastel colors in the sky.

We had a Sunday roast followed by bread and butter pudding on the 1st visit. On the second visit during the same week, we had a very tasty steak and ale pie. I would highly recommend a visit to the fabulous Riviera Restaurant.

  • Person walking alone on a beach near the ocean during daytime with cloudy sky.

Time and time again they smash it out of the park. Really great range of breakfasts, burgers and other dishes, home made scones are some of the best I’ve ever had!
